We choose to work with the under-privileged in areas such as - people with disability, destitute. This primarily through our association with organizations that work towards the upliftment of such individuals.
Providing healthcare for the socially marginalized and deprived sections of the society is crucial for the overall wellbeing of the society at large. We work closely with institutes that provide subsidized healthcare service.
Education is a powerful tool that can transform individual and society. D-Link reaches out to indigent students by working with schools/education institutions and support them in pursuing their dreams for a better future.
Following a lifecycle approach, D-Link works intensively through focused welfare projects in four major areas – child education, healthcare for families, skills training and livelihood for youth, and community engagement through women empowerment.
Advance Life Support Ambulance donated to Arogya Nidhi Hospital
Making Healthcare facilities accessible & affordable for the underprivileged has been on top of D-Link’s CSR agenda. Working towards achieving its CSR objective, D-Link lately donated an Advance Life Support Ambulance to Arogya Nidhi Hospital located at Juhu, Suburban Mumbai. The ambulance was donated through Shree Multan Seva Samiti (implementation agency of the Company). This state-of-the-art ambulance is equipped with necessary medical equipment’s for initial emergency treatments. Arogya Nidhi is a multi-specialty hospital with experienced medical staff providing effective treatment while guiding patients to steady recovery. Now all those looking for emergency medical care/ support can reach out to the hospital & get benefited.
Oxygen Concentrators donated to fight pandemic outbreak
D-Link’s key CSR initiative since the outbreak of COVID-19 Pandemic has been towards helping India withstand the unprecedented healthcare crisis. D-Link recently in association with Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town donated Oxygen Concentrators with accessories for the vulnerable communities seeking medical help during pandemic outbreak. D-Link under its CSR initiatives has been actively associated with Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town, supporting numerous initiatives such as providing Medical Equipment to Old age homes, Geriatrics care center, Education Grant Program and Disability corrective surgeries.
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratishthan (Dr. Hedgewar Rugnalaya)
As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objective we are focused on initiatives that make a constructive contribution to the community. Healthcare is one area that we have been extensively working on. Recently we at D-Link connected with Dr. Hedgewar Rugnalaya at Aurangabad that is providing Excellent Medical Services at affordable cost to the common man, while working towards social development in slums and villages, rural healthcare, women & child development etc. D-Link has committed a sum of Rs. 15 lacs towards purchase of medical equipment "Laryngoscope & Nerve Stimulator for Anesthesia".
Computer Lab at Keshav Smruti High School
We have always maintained Education is a powerful tool that can transform an individual, aswell as society at large. At D-Link Education has been one of the key focus areas under our CSR purview. Recently D-Link sponsored Computer Lab for Keshav Smruti High School at Vasco, Goa. With this we hope to empower hundreds of economically underprivileged students with quality technical education.
Daulatbanoo Merwan Khodadad Irani Dialysis Centre
D-Link is taking great efforts to reach out to those on the breadline and located at remote locations with limited or no access to healthcare services. Providing quality healthcare for the deprived is one of the key focus areas of our CSR program. With this commitment D-Link recently sponsored dialysis machine for Daulatbanoo Merwan Khodadad Irani Dialysis Centre located in Dahanu. This was done in collaboration with Lions Club of Dahisar in twinning with Lions Club of Dahanu.
Support towards PM Care funds to combat COVID-19
Government of India (GoI) is taking all necessary steps to contain the spread of COVID-19 while ensuring utmost safety of its citizens. In this moment of grave national crisis, D-Link (India) Ltd. has committed Rs. 35 lacs in nations service towards its fight against COVID-19 Pandemic in India. Along with D-Link, our employees have also voluntarily contributed one-day salary towards PMCARE fund as a mark of support during this health emergency.
Donation towards CM COVID Fund (Maharashtra)
Our country is going through a tough & unprecedented time with the ongoing COVID- 19 pandemic. D-Link extended its helping hand, by contributing Rs. 20 lacs towards CM COVID Fund (Maharashtra) in order to support the state government tackle the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
TATA Memorial Hospital
COVID-19 crisis has put a huge pressure on our healthcare system, and we extend our profound solidarity to all the frontline forces who are leading the battle against COVID-19 with utmost sincerity & brilliance. D-Link stands by its commitment of service to the society and has contributed Rs. 5 lacs to TATA Memorial Hospital towards procurement of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE), as part of the COVID-19 outbreak preparedness at the hospital.
Lion Kartar Singh Hospital
D-Link is committed towards promoting premium healthcare facility which is affordable for marginalized section of the society. Keeping up with this philosophy D-Link under its CSR purview donated Dialysis Machines to Lion Kartar Singh Hospital located in Mumbai suburb. Lion Kartar Singh Hospital is a recognized name in patient care offering economical medical facilities to patients and is equipped with technologically advanced healthcare support.
Jiwdani Dialysis Center
Located in the Norther suburb of Mumbai city and part of Raigad district - Jiwdani Dialysis Center at Virar offers economical treatment to needy patients. D-Link with its commitment towards supporting quality healthcare donated Dialysis unit. With this D-Link continues to support affordable healthcare for the underprivileged.
Cardiac Ambulance Donated to Masina Hospital
As part of our CSR objective of serving the society, D-Link donated an Advanced Life Support Cardiac Ambulance to Masina Hospital in Mumbai. This ambulance is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. Citizens of Mumbai looking for emergency healthcare service can now benefit from this Ambulance service as it will not only help to bring critically ill patients to the hospital but also initiate treatment for the same right from the patients’ house. The ambulance service will be available from 15th November 2019 on a 24x7 basis using the Jeevan Ambulance helpline 9821555528 and Masina Hospital Casualty number 022-61841279.
A.K. Munshi Yojana is a Voluntary Welfare Organization (NGO) working for the Welfare of the weaker section & under-privileged people at large through its various centers. A. K. Munshi Yojana has been awarded a Special Consultative Status in Socio-Eco Council of UNO. D-Link CSR team found their work noteworthy and has extended monetary support to the organization, which will help them continue with the noble work.
Lion S.P.Jain Eye Hospital And Diagnostic Centre
Lion S.P.Jain Eye Hospital And Diagnostic Centre located in western suburb of Mumbai provides subsidized eye care facility to the underprivileged. The hospital was looking for support to procure Vision Screening Machines through which they can efficiently detect many eye problems. As part of our CSR effort towards promoting quality healthcare initiatives by making available latest medical equipment’s, D-Link donated Vision Screening Machines to the hospital.
Support Towards Karnataka Flood Relief Operation
The 2019 floods in Karnataka brought major upheaval, rendering many families homeless and businesses being ruined. We at D-Link realize that as a responsible corporate entity it is our duty to help our brothers & sisters in time of such despair. In our effort to support the rehabilitation of flood victims, D-Link team handed over a cheque of Rs.10L to Mr. R Ashok - Revenue Minister Govt of Karnataka towards Chief Minister Disaster Relief fund.
Khar Danda (Mumbai) Beach Clean-up Drive
D-Link CSR team in collaboration with Self4Society initiated a beach clean-up drive at Khar Danda beach in Mumbai which had over 40 enthusiastic D-Link volunteers participate. The outcome was that over 1.8 ton of garbage was picked and removed from beach.
Shree Multan Sev Summit
Shree Multan Sev Summit is an NGO based out of Mumbai supports a number of charitable causes. In October 2018, D-Link recently supported them by sponsoring a couple of Dialysis machines that have been installed at BSES Hospital in Andheri. With this the economically deprived can now be benefited with timely healthcare.
Sanmitra Mandal Vidya Mandir
Sanmitra Mandal Vidya Mandir is an government aided school providing quality education to children from economically backward section of the society. D-Link sponsored & distributed notebooks to large number of student for the academic year 2018-19.
Prabhodan Dialysis center utilizes the latest in dialysis technology and offers treatments to people from economically backward section at a highly subsidized rate. D-Link had offered financial assistance to the center.
House of Charity
House Of Charity is a welfare organization working towards the well-being of destitute. D-Link sponsored the renovation of the building that accommodates special children.
Ramakrishna Mission Hospital & Charitable Dispensary provides free or highly subsidized medical services to large number of needy patients. D-Link in its endeavor to support the deprived sponsored medical & dental equipment’s.
Holy Spirit Hospital
Holy Spirit Hospital, a Charitable Trust offers state-of-the-art and quality healthcare to the marginalized at subsidized rates. D-Link sponsored Color Doppler Unit that was installed at the Hospital.
D-Link Green Project
Climate change is happening, which is why D-Link remains firmly committed to protecting the environment along every step of its product supply chain. In 2009, we initiated the D-Link Green Project which consists of three key solutions: Green Technologies to reduce energy consumption, Compliance with Green regulations by using non-toxic raw materials, as well as a Green Packaging initiative to reduce the volume of packaging materials.
Smarter Assistance for Disadvantaged Groups
In 1994, D-Link set up the D-Link Charitable Foundation to provide social assistance, care and feedback for those who are in need. The foundation invests in social welfare activities, such as child and youth welfare, welfare for the elderly, disability assistance, women’s welfare, and medical welfare.
