Controller Managed Wireless Access Points

Unified Wireless Controller Managed Access Points give you a scalable wireless local area network solution, built for high density environments. In contrast to legacy wireless networks that provide access via independent wireless access points or routers, unified wireless makes use of centralized control policies that allow network administrators to manage the configuration of all access points.

802.11ac Technology

D-Link offers a wide range of robust Unified Access Points (APs) operating in both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands, supporting the latest wireless standards including 802.11ac and 802.11n. All D-Link Unified APs can be managed independently (standalone), or collectively by using a Unified switch/controller. Choose the AP form factor that’s right for your needs, including desktop, ceiling/wall mount with hidden internal antennas, or plenum-rated, for placement in air passageways.

PoE = Cost Savings

Power over Ethernet makes wireless installation simpler, safer and less expensive. Most of our business class access points support PoE allowing for single cable deployment. Combine this with a D-Link smart PoE switch and you can monitor and control your power remotely.

Managed Independently or with a Unified Wireless Controller

D-Link Unified Wireless APs are highly manageable and scalable with high data transmission speeds, optional support for PoE, and advanced security features. Up to 256 D-Link Unified Access Points can be deployed and managed easily and efficiently. Once the APs are discovered by the wireless controller, the administrator can push a specific set of configurations onto them, rather than having to do so one by one.

In addition, RF resource management and security are also managed centrally, allowing administrators to preemptively identify potential deficiencies and weaknesses in the network.

Why Businesses Trust D-Link
Wireless Networking Solutions

“D-Link’s network solution gave us a wireless network that was seven times faster. That gives me a competitive advantage, satisfied tenants and peace of mind.”

Jesper Kjellerås, founder of Impact Hub Stockholm, Sweden

“The L2 Fast Roaming works excellently, one client is roaming across 20-30APs a day without any latency or other technical issues. Together with the distributed tunneling the voice applications (IP phones, software-based SIP extensions) are working flawlessly.”

Zoltán Kiss, IT Operations Director, Bárdi Autó, Hungary
